Ringleader Digital is no newbie in the mobile ad space, which is likely why the Travel Channel announced today that the company will be its partner to expand its mobile presence.
“The mobile web is the perfect place to target today’s traveling consumers” said Chris Ackerman, director of business development at Travel Channel, in a statement. “Ringleader Digital’s easy to implement mobile advertising platform will provide our ad sales team with a tremendous amount of flexibility.”
Starting out, The Travel Channel is using Ringleader Digital’s ad server to implement targeted banner advertisements. The technology will provide Travel Channel with targeting, tracking and reporting capabilities similar to online. Travel Channel plans to also license the RLD Media Stamp technology that lets you identify unique mobile and new media devices through multiple sessions.
Founded in 2005, Ringleader Digital licenses its ad server platform and other technologies to publishes, ad networks, agencies, brands and analytics companies as bundled solutions or on an a-la-carte basis.
